there’s a really big difference between “the writers want to put these two characters in a queer relationship but can’t because of censors” and “we’re going to keep putting these characters in queer situations and playing it off as a really funny joke”

If you’re creating a birth plan, consider writing out specific NON-consent to any form of surgical intervention in the event of the birth of an infant whose genitalia are considered by any care provider to be in any way “ambiguous.”

Recent legal cases concerning intersex people subjected to such surgeries without consent are cautiously promising; having a written refusal of consent could make the difference in at least some cases.

This is what it looks like, here, ten days before Christmas!
This gorgeous wall of orange honeysuckle smells amazing!

I love this dress from IGIGI.  It’s comfortable but heavy.  Modest and a little retro.  The pattern is feminine but not overwhelming.  It’s an incredibly well made dress!

I’m wearing
 IGIGI Sandra wrap dress
Softspots shoes
Demi gloves

Melting Marshmallow Peeps with a Red Hot Ball of Nickel

This was completely unnecessary and for that I am thankful

am i the only one who got to the open flame barbecue parts and started imagining this is how Pyro spends their Easter vacations

Here is a photo of Forrest J. Ackerman literally inventing cosplay. He was the first person to wear a costume to a science fiction convention. This was the World Science Fiction convention (Nycon 1) which was held during the 1939 World Fair.

Several members of the Futurians fan club were specifically banned from attending the convention - including Donald A. Wolheim and Frederik Pohl. This just goes to show you that fandom has ALWAYS been full of infighting and arguing. The internet just makes it easier to see.

I’m so proud of you.

I just wanted to tell you

in case no one has.
